Below are list of common products found in the kitchen that can be used as natural beauty treatments. Try them and see how effective they are.

BODY

Brown Sugar Body Scrub
Brown sugar is a gentle skin exfoliant. It moisturizes skin naturally, gives the skin a shiny glow, removes  acne and even diminishes skin scars.
¼ cup guava or mango, smoothen or finely mashed
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp coconut milk
1 ½ tsp extra virgin olive oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Apply to skin in a circular motions during shower then rinse with water. For your face, use same recipe but replace brown sugar with white refined sugar for gentler effect on your face.

EYES

Tea Eye-Bag Treatment
Tea helps shrink the appearance of the blood vessels, and its antioxidants help eliminate inflammation.
2 bags of green tea or black tea
If using black tea bags: soak tea bags in hot water for a few minutes, then take out and cool them down. Put tea bags over eyes, cover with soft cloth and leave for 15 minutes. Repeat as desired.

If using green tea bags: put 2 used tea bags in the ref for 30 minutes, then place on your ayelids for 10-15 minutes. Repeat as desired.

HAIR

Natural Hair Conditioner
The egg provides protein to the hair while avocado and olive oil nourish each strand. Conditioner and mayo detangle hair naturally.
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp mayonnaise
¼ of an avocado, peeled and cut into chunks
2 tbsp olive oil
a handful of conditioner
Mix all ingredients, comb mixture to your hair and leave for 1-2 hours. Then rinse well, leaving your hair soft, shiny and strong.

FEET

Cornmeal Foot Exfoliate
Cornmeal has antifungal properties, so it is best for your foot to prevent as well as to treat fungus.
2 tbsp cornmeal
1 tbsp mashed banana
Blend cornmeal and banana together until a paste-like consistency is achieved. Massage the paste all over feet, exfoliating rough calluses for 30 seconds or until skin feels smooth.

LIPS

Cacao-Honey Lip Treatment
Cocoa contains Vitamin A,C and E which help moisturize your lips.
1 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp raw honey
Combine all ingredients in acontainer. Apply a small amount on lips and let it stay for about 10 minutes. Then remove gently as it exfoliates dead skin on your lips leaving perfectly soft lips.
